  4. Head sweeping

Ablution tutorial

Knowing the procedures for ablution is very important because ablution is one of the factors in the acceptance of our prayers.

This is mentioned in the Sabda Rasulullah SAW in the following hadith:

Allah will not accept the prayer of any of you if he breaks his fast until he has made ablution

Meaning: "Allah will not accept prayers from those of you who read the Hadith until he makes ablution." (Reported by Bukhari).

ablution intentionThe procedure for ablution begins with reading the intention for ablution. Wudhu should be addressed to Allah SWT and then continue the ablution by reciting Basmalah at every step.

In Bushra al-Karim, it is better to read the intention of ablution before washing your face to get the sunnah reward. The following is the intention before ablution.

I am planning to perform a small ritual ablution to remove dirt for God Almighty.

Nawaitul whuduua liraf'il hadatsil asghari fardhal lillaahi ta'aalaa.

Meaning: "I intend, for the sake of Allah, to perform ablution to remove small hadats."

The correct procedure for ablution according to the instructions can be seen in Surah Al Maidah verse 6 as follows:

Good land, so wash your face Und deine Hände von ihm ۚ Ma God wil swaarkry op jou lê, maar Hy wil jou reinig en Sy guns oor jou voltooi sodat jy dankbaar kan wees.

Meaning: "O you who believe, if you want to pray, wash your faces and your hands up to the elbows, wipe your heads and (wash) your feet up to the ankles, and if you are still a virgin, then take a bath, and when you are sick or traveling or returning from a place to defecate (toilet) or touch women and do not get water, then do tayammum with good (clean) soil; wipe your face and hands with this dirt. Allah does not want to make things difficult for you, but wants to purify you and perfect His favors for you so that you will be grateful."

The ablution tutorial ends by reading a prayer after ablution as follows:

I bear witness that there is no god but Allah who has no partner, and that Muhammad is His slave and messenger. O Allah, make me of those who repent and make me of those who purify themselves.

Latin reading:Asyhadu allâ ilâha illallâhu wahdahû lâ syarîka lahu wa asyhadu anna muhammadan 'abduhû wa rasûluhû, allâhummaj'alnî interest in tawwâbîna waj'alnii minal mutathahhirîna.

Meaning: "I testify that there is no god but Allah SWT, there is no partner for Him, and I testify that the Prophet Muhammad is the servant and messenger of Allah. O Allah, make me one of those who must repent and make me one of those who are pious.

This prayer after ablution is in addition to the procedures for ablution that you must read in order to be perfectly clean.

Procedure for tayammum according to the guide

In addition to the procedures for ablution, you must also know the correct procedures for tayammum according to the instructions. Tayammum is also a type of cleansing with holy earth or dust.

If there is no water around you, you can do tayammum to purify yourself.

According to Ahmad Najibuddin in his book Prayer Guide & Juz 'Amma Complete, Tayammum is permissible because there are obstacles that prevent a person from performing ablution using water.

Check out the following tayammum procedures:

  1. Prepare a floor that is still clean or dusty. Dust that sticks to walls, glass or other places that are considered clean are also allowed by the scholars.
  2. Place both palms on the cloth, close the position of the fingers of both palms. When doing tayammum, it is sunnah to face the Qiblah
  3. Then say Bismillah while your hand is still on the wall or sand.
  4. Then wipe all over the face with both palms.
  5. Then clean your hands, but first remove the jewelery on your hands, then place your palms back on the cloth and this time stretch your fingers.
  6. Then, with your right palm, lift both palms to your left hand. Then bring your fingers together and try not to let the right finger tip come out of the left index finger, or the right index finger will hit the left index finger.
  7. Then wipe the right hand across the right arm to the elbow, then turn the right hand and also wipe the other side of the right arm and wipe the palm from the elbow to the left thumb again by tapping the right thumb together. The same can be for the left hand.
  8. Then bring your palms together and stroke them between your fingers.

Maintaining ablution in Islam has several virtues including:

Those are some of the virtues of keeping Wudhu in religion Islam, apart from that there are many other virtues.

Here is an ablution tutorial that must be followed if you want to pray. If you are in a difficult condition to get clean water, you can replace this ablution with the previous tayammumInsert directly summarizing above. Hopefully this ablution procedure info is useful.
